Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, along with their associated technologies, have seamlessly integrated into our everyday existence. Recognizing the immense potential and the global gold rush surrounding these advancements, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at GNITS took a proactive step in 2020 by establishing the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Center of Excellence.
The primary objective of this center is to enhance students’ skills in the realm of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, leveraging Python technology. To achieve this goal, the center consistently organizes technical training programs, workshops, and guest lecturers tailored for both faculty and students. Its central focus lies in guiding students through the process of designing project frameworks for their endeavors in the field of Artificial Intelligence, ensuring necessary tools to successfully implement in-house academic projects which further leads to submission of proposals to various funding agencies.
Objectives
- To provide training programs and workshops that enhances the skills of students and faculty members in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- To build automated solutions to the problems related to Computer vision, Robotics, Cognitive Science, Natural Language Processing and video analytics.
- To provide technical support for students and faculty in projects related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- To facilitate collaboration between researchers, industry experts, and academia in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
